There is a sense of fullness that makes you feel that this is how life must be lived, and war must be abandoned.
Throughout his career, Picasso depicted a variety of women in his art, including artist model Amelie Lang, ballerina Olga Khokhlova, surrealist photographer Dora Maar, and art student Françoise Gilot, among others. Each woman gave of herself to his art, and his work is revealing of their personalities and the kind of relationships he had with each one. Picasso's use of women in his art is a complex subject, but it is clear that they played a significant role in his artistic vision and his personal life.
